General Meeting 2012

Thursday, February 23rd – 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Milwood Public Library on Adelphi/Amherst

Items that we plan to have on the agenda at this time are:

- Items related to Balcones Park/Bike trails etc.
- Some meet and greet with our police reps and park reps
- Annual Board Elections.

A more complete agenda will be circulated before the meeting as we work out details.

If you are interested in making a presentation or just offering up a topic for discussion/consideration please either post to the listserve or contact me privately so we can be sure that time is allowed.

If anyone is interested in standing for election to the board, please also advise so that your name and intentions will be known to the membership.  In the past couple of years, in the absence of anyone else running, we have called for a simple vote of confidence to continue the existing board, but if there are others willing and interested, we would have a formal vote.

Thanks for your support.

General Meeting 2011

Thursday, April 7th – 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Milwood Public Library on Adelphi/Amherst

Items that we plan to have on the agenda at this time are:

- Items related to Balcones Park/Bike trails etc.
- Discussion of possibly re-starting the neighborhood watch
- Some meet and greet with our police reps and park reps
- Annual Board Elections.
- Following up on Weirdos.

A more complete agenda will be circulated before the meeting as we work out details.

If you are interested in making a presentation or just offering up a topic for discussion/consideration
please either post to the listserve or contact me privately so we can be sure that time is allowed.

Regarding Neighborhood Watch; if people are interested in adopting their street, what we will probably do is just discuss it in general and then arrange a separate meeting to hash out the details with a Watch committee.

If anyone is interested in standing for election to the board, please also advise so that your name and intentions will be known to the membership.  In the past couple of years, in the absence of anyone else running, we have called for a simple vote of confidence to continue the existing board, but if there are others willing and interested, we would have a formal vote.
